What you will do

• Develop backend services and processing pipelines for efficient handling of large-scale healthcare data
• Integrate and optimize AI components including LLMs for intelligent features and insights
• Collaborate with frontend, data, and AI teams to deliver seamless user experiences
• Own end-to-end feature development from conception to deployment and maintenance
• Implement observability through monitoring, logging, alerting, and autoscaling
• Work with product owners and designers to translate requirements into technical specifications

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math or equivalent
• 5+ years in backend development building scalable distributed systems
• Strong proficiency in Python, Node.js, Java or similar
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices
• Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Hands-on with relational databases, system design, data processing, and observability
• Minimum 2 years in startup environment
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, communication, and ownership skills

Nice to have

• Experience with message queues, data streaming, vector databases
• Using LLMs with LangChain, LlamaIndex, prompt engineering
• RAG systems and AI-driven similarity search
• FHIR and healthcare interoperability standards
