Salary: $152,900–$244,300 USD (US) / CAD (Canada) annually

What you will do
- Develop and execute global sourcing strategies for optical components aligned with product roadmaps.
- Lead supplier performance management using scorecards, improvement plans, and executive reviews.
- Own commercial negotiations for pricing, contracts, LTAs, MPAs, and VMI models.
- Partner with R&D, Product Management, and Operations for supplier qualification and NPI support.
- Deliver cost reductions through modeling, benchmarking, and value engineering.
- Mitigate supply risks via dual sourcing, inventory strategies, and shortage response.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business or related; Master’s preferred
- 10+ years in strategic sourcing/commodity management with optical components exposure
- Strong knowledge of optical technologies (WSS, amplifiers, pump lasers, etc.)
- People leadership experience in hiring, coaching, and team management
- Proven global sourcing strategies, cost savings, and complex negotiations
- Cross-functional collaboration with R&D, Product, Operations, Quality
- Analytical, communication skills; procurement tools proficiency
- Travel up to 20% domestically/internationally
