What you will do

• Develop and execute global sourcing strategies for optical components aligned with product roadmaps.
• Lead supplier performance management using scorecards, improvement plans, and executive reviews.
• Own commercial negotiations for pricing, contracts, LTAs, MPAs, and VMI models.
• Partner with R&D, Product Management, and Operations for supplier qualification and NPI support.
• Deliver cost reductions through modeling, benchmarking, and value engineering.
• Mitigate supply risks via dual sourcing, inventory strategies, and shortage response.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business or related; Master’s preferred
• 10+ years in strategic sourcing/commodity management with optical components exposure
• Strong knowledge of optical technologies (WSS, amplifiers, pump lasers, etc.)
• People leadership experience in hiring, coaching, and team management
• Proven global sourcing strategies, cost savings, and complex negotiations
• Cross-functional collaboration with R&D, Product, Operations, Quality
• Analytical, communication skills; procurement tools proficiency
• Travel up to 20% domestically/internationally
