EPIC Business Intelligence Developer, Sr (Epic)

Location: Onsite at Medical Office Building, Fort Worth, TX (Dallas/Fort Worth area). Must be willing to relocate to the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and implement BI solutions including reports, dashboards, and analytics for business leaders.
• Gather requirements, analyze data, and create self-service analytics tools reflecting clinical, financial, and operational workflows.
• Architect data warehousing solutions and write optimized SQL queries for relational and multidimensional databases.
• Troubleshoot, monitor, and maintain existing BI solutions while identifying process improvements.
• Lead small-scale projects, mentor junior BI developers, and document best practices.

Requirements

• Must be willing to relocate to the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, MIS, Business or related + 4 years BI/Data experience OR 6 years experience in BI Developer, Data Analyst, or similar roles.
• Expertise in BI tools (Microsoft BI stack, Tableau, etc.), SQL/Python/R/SAS, data warehousing, and BI lifecycle.
• Experience with requirements gathering, dashboard deployment, debugging BI solutions, and leading projects.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills; available for 24/7 on-call support.
• Epic certification required within 6 months: Cogito, Caboodle/Clarity Data Model, plus Clinical/Patient Access/Revenue Cycle.

Nice to have

• 2+ years in healthcare/provider environment.
• 4+ years in IT; Epic Cogito tools experience (Radar, SlicerDicer, etc.).
• Additional Epic certifications or Microsoft SQL/Python/BI tool certifications.
