Project Manager (Fintech)

TL;DR

Project Manager (Agile): Lead teams in complex matrix environment to deliver technical projects supporting multiple business lines using waterfall or agile methodologies with an accent on project planning, governance, and stakeholder collaboration. Focus on managing risks, issues, triple constraints, enabling Agile practices, and driving continuous improvement through KPIs and post-implementation reviews.

Location: Flexible hybrid schedule at 483 Bay Street, Toronto until late 2026, then new office at 3 Robert Speck Parkway, Mississauga. Current work authorization for Canada is required for all openings.

Salary: $105,000 to $164,000

What you will do

• Prepare project charters, detailed plans including scope, schedule, budget, resources, quality, and success criteria.
• Manage day-to-day activities, deliverables, risks, issues, and ensure governance gates are completed.
• Lead project teams in matrix environment, clarify roles, provide direction, feedback, and communication support.
• Implement reporting, change management, and control mechanisms; report status to sponsors and executives.
• Work with vendors on RFPs, proposals, and innovative solutions; facilitate stakeholder collaboration.
• Define product goals and backlog, address impediments, coach on Agile, and report team performance via KPIs.

Requirements

• University Degree or equivalent work experience.
• Certified Scrum Master or Professional Scrum Master certification.
• Project Management Professional certification.
• Minimum 3 years experience in Project/Program Management and/or Scrum Master capacity.
• Extensive experience leading business and systems delivery teams using Project Management and Agile methodologies.
• In-depth knowledge of Project Management and Agile frameworks; strong coaching, leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
