Technical Lead (Fullstack)

TL;DR

Location: Flexible hybrid schedule at 483 Bay Street, Toronto until late 2026, then new Mississauga office at 3 Robert Speck Parkway. Current work authorization for Canada is required.

Salary: $135,000–$152,000 base + discretionary performance bonus

What you will do

• Lead modernization of core systems in collaboration with architecture teams to build scalable, resilient platforms.
• Partner with engineers, product owners, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions meeting technical and business goals.
• Break down complex initiatives into deliverables, provide estimates, recommend approaches, and mitigate risks.
• Assess code quality, architecture, and operational risks to ensure secure, maintainable solutions.
• Produce and review technical documentation for sustainability and knowledge sharing.
• Support operations including on-call rotation and improve stability, performance, supportability.

Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years as fullstack developer.
• Experience in typescript/node or java/spring boot backend, typescript/react/angular frontend.
• Strong experience building and designing systems.
• Excellent documentation, written/verbal communication, analytic, organizational, negotiation skills.
• Current work authorization for Canada is required.

Nice to have

• 2+ years as team lead.
• Experience in financial industry.
