Location: Remote within Canada (Offices in Ottawa, Calgary, and Toronto)

Salary: $125,000 – $165,000 CAD

What you will do

• Partner with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, Data, Finance) to translate business opportunities into technical solutions.
• Architect and develop maintainable, observable, and scalable solutions across the entire stack.
• Contribute to solution design, rollout planning, and measurement of business impact.
• Write high-quality code and maintain strong quality standards through automated testing.
• Review pull requests and mentor other developers to improve code quality and developer experience.
• Scope and plan projects, collaborating with both frontend and backend engineers for implementation.

Requirements

• Strong experience as a fullstack software engineer building maintainable systems.
• Proficiency with Ruby on Rails and React.
• Experience working with GraphQL APIs and application layers.
• Proven ability to write automated tests for safe, continuous delivery.
• Data-driven approach using product signals (conversion, revenue growth) to guide decisions.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada.

Nice to have

• Experience in health tech or other trust-sensitive domains.
• Experience scaling high-scale web applications.
• Experience with React Native and Apollo.
