What you will do

• Own day-to-day execution of data governance operating model across multiple data domains
• Drive creation and maintenance of governance artifacts like business glossary, data definitions, critical data elements, metadata, lineage, and usage context
• Establish and document data owner and steward roles, responsibilities, and decision rights
• Create policies and procedures for data requirements
• Track governance adoption and effectiveness with metrics like coverage, usage, and issue resolution times
• Serve as escalation point for governance exceptions and data-related risks; execute RFPs

Requirements

• 5–8+ years in data governance, data management, analytics, data quality, or related
• Master’s degree
• Demonstrated experience operating (not just designing) a data governance program
• Ability to operate in ambiguity and structure evolving environments
• Cross-functional experience with business, analytics, engineering, and risk/compliance stakeholders

Nice to have

• Exposure to machine learning
• Knowledge of DevOps and Git
• Track record of agentic AI use and implementation
