Hourly rate: $46.00 - $76.07

What you will do

• Investigate and remediate security incidents using standard protocols, including escalations and communications.
• Implement and monitor security measures for systems, networks, and data protection.
• Develop technical solutions, tools, and procedures to mitigate vulnerabilities and automate tasks.
• Configure and troubleshoot security infrastructure devices.
• Prepare reports on breaches and recommend enhancements to management.
• Collaborate with IS teams on incidents, solutions, and compliance.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience/education.
• 5+ years in Information Security, including system security engineering.
• Hands-on experience with intrusion detection, anti-virus, authentication, log management, content filtering.
• Network security and operating system security knowledge.
• Understanding of security principles, protocols, and regulations (PCI DSS, SOX, HIPAA, NIST).
• Problem-solving under pressure, communication skills, on-call availability.

Nice to have

• Healthcare experience.
• PCI, HIPAA, NIST specific experience.
• Security certifications (ISC2, GIAC, CISM, CEH).
• Knowledge of physical, logical, administrative security controls.
