Salary: $60,500 - $86,100

What you will do

• Implement low-level Linux OS software working closely with hardware prototypes.
• Develop and verify basic software algorithms using C and scripting languages.
• Perform code design tasks and create efficient, reusable, reliable code.
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, devising solutions for performance and quality.
• Execute test strategies and take ownership of moderately complex tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure maintainability and system reliability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in BS/CE or BS/CS (or equivalent) with 0-3 years of related experience.
• Good knowledge of C, familiarity with multithreaded environments.
• Ability to develop software targeting Linux (not just using Linux for development).
• Networking experience at programming level, familiarity with chip-level buses (I2C, SPI).
• ARM development experience (e.g., Raspberry Pi, TI OMAP); scripting (Python, AWK, Lua, Shell).
• Source code control; ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Security Clearance.
