What you will do

• Partner with leadership to execute Cloud Vision for 2026 and beyond, bridging current capabilities to best-in-class compliant cloud platforms.
• Conduct Cloud Center of Excellence activities, establish guiding principles, standards, and blueprints for IT and business teams.
• Review workloads for architecture governance, recommend secure and cost-optimized designs aligned with AWS/GCP Well Architected Framework.
• Architect and implement DevSecOps/SRE practices, CI/CD pipelines, IaC, and automated provisioning of cloud projects/accounts.
• Collaborate with Networking and Cybersecurity teams on secure topologies, Zero Trust principles, and data security standards.
• Work with global stakeholders and external partners to ensure compliance with regulations and data residency requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field + 8+ years hands-on experience as Cloud Platform Architect/Engineer in large enterprises.
• Expert knowledge of AWS/GCP platforms, Well Architected Framework, networking, security, and identity management.
• Proficiency in Cloud DevSecOps, CI/CD (Jenkins, GitHub Actions), IaC (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation), and version control (Git, Bitbucket).
• Experience with Kubernetes, cloud logging/monitoring, backup/recovery, HPC clusters, and AI/ML infrastructure provisioning.
• Strong experience in multi-cloud FinOps, cloud foundations/landing zones, and resiliency frameworks.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in Biopharma/Life Sciences industry.
