AU Management Accountant (Finance Business Analyst)

TL;DR

AU Management Accountant (Finance Business Analyst): Prepare and deliver financial reporting, management accounts, and data analysis for a multi-entity, multi-currency global manufacturing business with an accent on variance analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. Focus on developing financial models, reconciling data across systems, and creating dashboards for decision-making.

WFH / Hybrid (Ortigas, Alabang, Pampanga or Cebu, Philippines). Work schedule: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM AEST (7:00 AM to 4:00 PM PH time).

What you will do

• Prepare monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and financial reports across multiple entities and currencies.
• Conduct budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling for operational and strategic decisions.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger, balance sheet, and intercompany transactions.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes with the Financial Controller.
• Analyze data from accounting, finance, and HR systems to build reports and dashboards using Power BI or Excel.
• Validate data across systems and identify improvements in reporting automation and financial visibility.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accountancy, Finance, or Business Administration (Financial Management major).
• 3+ years in management accounting, financial analysis, or accounting/business analyst roles.
• Strong knowledge of general ledger, reconciliations, month-end close, and consolidated reporting.
• Advanced Excel skills for building models and reports independently.
• Experience with multiple enterprise systems, especially finance and HR platforms.
• Proficiency in Power BI or similar BI tools (advantageous).
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
