TL;DR
Director, US Patient Advocacy & Professional Engagement (Biotech): Building and leading US-based patient advocacy and professional society engagements and collaborations with an accent on Bronchiectasis and NTM Lung Disease. Focus on cultivating relationships with patient communities and medical associations, incorporating patient perspectives into clinical development strategies, and developing external partner engagement initiatives.
Location: Fully remote within the US. Occasional domestic travel (10-20%) required.
Salary: $177,000–$242,000 Annual

What you will do
- Develop and implement external partner engagement strategy aligned to business and community needs.
- Partner with patient organizations to empower communities and elevate awareness through events and workshops.
- Collaborate with professional medical associations on initiatives to advance disease understanding and education.
- Provide insights on health policy, access, and reimbursement trends to patient organizations.
- Incorporate patient experience into business decisions across the asset lifecycle.
- Engage with advocacy groups and patients for Patient-Focused Drug Development and represent company externally.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in life sciences, healthcare, public health, or related field and 10+ years in patient advocacy/engagement in biotech/pharma.
- Deep understanding of respiratory conditions including NTM Lung Disease and Bronchiectasis.
- Track record in strategic projects, budget leadership, and cross-therapeutic experience.
- Excellent communication, peer leadership, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of regulatory, ethical, and promotional review processes in pharma.
