What you will do

• Maintain and culture mammalian cell lines and primary cells, ensuring sterility and optimal health.
• Execute in vitro experiments, including transfection, transduction, and dose-response studies.
• Support CRISPR-based experiments and screening workflows, including guide RNA handling and analysis.
• Perform molecular and cellular assays such as qPCR, Western blot, and ELISA.
• Conduct immunocytochemistry and acquire/analyze microscopy images to quantify experimental outcomes.
• Maintain accurate electronic lab notebooks and contribute to internal reports and team discussions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with mammalian cell culture techniques.
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail in record keeping and data reporting.
• Location: Must be based in San Diego, CA for full-time, in-person collaboration.
