What you will do

• Architect and execute pooled CRISPR screens, including target gene composition, gRNA library design, and optimization of transduction parameters.
• Manage the iPSC screening platform, overseeing maintenance, expansion, and high-efficiency differentiation into lineages such as neurons and cardiomyocytes.
• Direct the development of "cell-to-data" workflows, integrating automated liquid handling and high-throughput sequencing.
• Collaborate with internal and external investigators to translate biological questions into robust screening assays.
• Mentor a team of Research Associates, fostering scientific rigor and professional development.
• Oversee laboratory logistics, reagent scaling, and equipment maintenance for the screening pipeline.

Requirements

• PhD in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Bioengineering, or related field with 5+ years of postdoc/industry experience (or Master's with 8+ years).
• Mandatory proven track record in pooled CRISPR screening, including library cloning and lentiviral production.
• Deep familiarity with iPSC culture and differentiation protocols (2D and 3D).
• Expert proficiency in molecular cloning (Gibson assembly, Golden Gate), NGS library preparation, and qPCR/ddPCR.
• Competence with basic bioinformatics tools for gRNA design and initial data QC.
• Must be able to work on-site in Burlington, MA.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with liquid handling platforms (e.g., Hamilton, Beckman, Agilent) and their integration into high-throughput workflows.
