Salary: $120,000 - $202,252 (USD, US-based)

What you will do
- Own all accounting for sales commissions, including expense recognition, accruals, deferrals, amortization, true-ups, and technical memos under U.S. GAAP (ASC 606).
- Maintain SOX-compliant internal controls, perform key control activities, and support internal/external audits.
- Oversee end-to-end commission calculation and payout processes in partnership with Sales Operations.
- Lead commission tool implementations, enhancements, and process improvements for automation and efficiency.
- Provide strategic advice on compensation structures, forecasting, and risk mitigation to leadership.
- Manage and develop commission team members while driving finance transformation initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including commission or incentive compensation accounting
- Strong understanding of sales compensation plans, commission structures, and crediting models
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SOX internal controls
- Hands-on experience with external audits, internal audit testing, and public company processes
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with commission systems (e.g., Xactly)
- Experience in high-growth SaaS environments with global sales teams
