What you will do

• Guide research strategy for AI-based protein design and data science in biotherapeutic research.
• Lead, mentor, and grow teams of computational biologists in protein design and data science.
• Coordinate collaborations with experimental teams on drug discovery and research platforms.
• Integrate computation and experiment using laboratory automation and agentic AI workflows.
• Partner with IT and stakeholders to implement corporate strategy for advanced computing technologies.

Requirements

• PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related discipline + 10 years in computational biology.
• Deep expertise in computational protein design.
• Proven leadership of computational biologists and collaborations with experimental scientists.
• Strong track record in scientific creativity and innovation.
• Hands-on experience with state-of-the-art deep learning models for protein design and predictive analysis.
• Skills in analysis, interpretation, and visualization of protein design data; NGS data helpful.
• Experience partnering with IT for computational and data infrastructure.
