TL;DR

Senior New Business Development Manager (NHS & Healthcare): Drive new logo acquisition and revenue growth across UK NHS Trusts, ICSs and ALBs with an accent on winning virgin business and building high-value pipelines. Focus on leading full sales lifecycle, stakeholder engagement at executive levels, and navigating complex multi-stakeholder procurement processes.

Location: UK (Hybrid / Remote with regular travel to NHS Trusts, ICSs and London). Must be a UK national for security reasons

What you will do

  • Proactively identify, target and win net new NHS customers across Trusts, ICSs and ALBs
  • Build, manage and convert strong pipeline of qualified opportunities through outbound activity and senior-level engagement
  • Own full sales lifecycle from first contact to contract signature, driving complex NHS sales cycles
  • Pursue tenders, frameworks and competitive procurement processes
  • Expand revenue in new customers via upsell, cross-sell and structured account growth plans
  • Position platform and professional services as long-term strategic partner

Requirements

  • Proven hunter-led sales success in UK NHS or healthcare market
  • Demonstrable track record of winning new logo business in complex, regulated environments
  • Experience delivering against meaningful revenue targets
  • Strong experience selling SaaS platforms or professional services
  • Deep understanding of NHS buying processes, procurement routes and frameworks
  • Must be a UK national for security reasons

Nice to have

  • Experience selling secure collaboration or information governance solutions
  • Strong knowledge of NHS structures, funding and decision-making
  • Navigating competitive tenders and multi-vendor environments
  • Working with Central Government
