What you will do

• Drive biomolecular engineering and pharmacology efforts within research projects, including strategy and methods development.
• Construct recombinant systems encoding protein variants and combinatorial protein libraries.
• Implement high-throughput screening platforms to enable candidate selection from large panels.
• Optimize tailored protein expression and purification strategies for drug discovery programs.
• Develop and deploy functional, immunological, and pharmacological assays to characterize protein performance in vitro and in vivo.
• Maintain detailed experimental records and present scientific results to the research group and external community.

Requirements

• PhD in molecular and cellular biology, bioengineering, biochemistry, immunology, microbiology, or related fields.
• Hands-on experience with mammalian tissue culture, recombinant DNA technology, and protein biochemistry.
• Proficiency in protein characterization methods including spectroscopy, SDS-PAGE, western blot, and ELISA.
• Experience with enzyme analysis and protein-protein binding characterization.
• Must be able to work full-time on-site at the Lebanon, NH Research Development Lab.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Experience with high-throughput functional screen development for protein libraries.
• Knowledge of AAV viral vectors and gene editing.
• Experience with in vivo rodent models.
