What you will do

• Manage a regional team of field application scientists (FAS), monitoring performance and identifying growth opportunities.
• Train and onboard new field application scientists within the assigned territory.
• Provide high-level scientific support to account managers and existing/new customers.
• Mentor and provide guidance to other FAS Managers.
• Ensure all team members adhere to company directives and policies.

Requirements

• Must be located in or able to work from San Francisco, CA, USA.
• Ability to travel 30-50% within the designated territory to customer sites.
• Capable of working in a laboratory environment, including handling chemicals and hazardous materials.
• Strong leadership skills with experience in mentoring and managing scientific teams.
• Effective communication skills for exchanging technical information across teams.
