What you will do

• Develop and lead the therapeutic approach to biologics in collaboration with Broad faculty and CDoT leadership.
• Build and manage a portfolio of biologic discovery projects and mentor a world-class research team.
• Create strategies and lead efforts to fund early discovery projects through industry, philanthropic, and government relationships.
• Lead alliance and partnership discussions with VCs, biotech, and pharma companies for therapeutic assets.
• Manage the design, engineering, and optimization of novel biologics, including monoclonal antibodies, multi-specifics, and fusion proteins.
• Direct preclinical development and establish partnerships with external CROs to accelerate programs.

Requirements

• PhD in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology, Protein Engineering, or a related field.
• 15+ years of industry experience in biologics discovery is essential.
• Demonstrated success leading projects from target identification to clinical development.
• Experience leading and motivating cross-functional, scientifically diverse teams.
• Significant publication record demonstrating deep expertise in protein engineering or antibody discovery.
