QA/QC Specialist

TL;DR

QA/QC Specialist (Residential Energy Efficiency): Conducting energy audits, pre- and post-installation verifications, and quality control inspections of single-family and multifamily buildings with an accent on contractual, technical, and quality standards. Focus on validating in-field improvements, coordinating remediation of deficiencies, and participating in quality investigations for continuous improvement.

Location: Remote - Colorado; successful candidates must reside in Colorado for frequent travel within the area

$29-33 USD Hourly (Target Compensation $26.40 - $39.70 USD Hourly)

What you will do

• Schedule QA/QC appointments and coordinate with homeowners, building owners, and contractors.
• Conduct thorough on-site inspections, energy audits, and electronic reviews to ensure compliance with BPI standards, safety protocols, and program specs.
• Record results, validate improvements against scope, communicate deficiencies, and schedule follow-ups.
• Manage, track, and report QA/QC activities; participate in investigations and drive corrective actions.
• Travel throughout defined territory using company vehicle; support additional quality initiatives.

Requirements

• Must reside in Colorado with valid driver's license (age 21+), clean driving record; meet DOT requirements if applicable.
• High school diploma or associate’s degree preferred; industry-recognized certifications (e.g., BPI, RESNET) strongly preferred.
• Experience in construction, facility maintenance, or installation.
• Strong customer service skills to build trust with homeowners and contractors.
• Physical ability: bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, extended standing/walking, repetitive motions, power tools.
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship; pass pre-employment checks.
