Location: Hybrid role based out of Bridgewater, NJ office, with flexibility for on-site presence across NJ and NH research sites as needed. Occasional travel (5%–10%).

Salary: $214,000–$292,000 Annual

What you will do

• Build and maintain integrated, milestone-driven program plans from discovery through candidate selection for small molecule, biologics, and gene therapy programs.
• Establish stage-appropriate deliverables aligned to industry benchmarks and challenge planning assumptions.
• Maintain real-time portfolio view, track progress, risks, and timelines across NJ/NH programs.
• Partner with leaders to translate strategy into execution plans and facilitate team cadence.
• Act as cross-functional connector to resolve dependencies and bottlenecks across sites.
• Identify risks, drive mitigation, and support decision-making with scenario analyses.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in scientific discipline + 12+ years in biotech/pharma R&D, including drug discovery/early development.
• 10+ years in program/project management in matrixed R&D environment.
• Track record advancing programs to candidate selection or IND-enabling stage.
• Proficiency in MS Project, Smartsheet, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Ability to lead through influence without formal authority and manage multiple complex programs.
• Flexibility for on-site presence across NJ and NH sites.
