TL;DR

Senior Media Planner (Strategic Planning): Develop high-impact, long-term marketing strategies including account strategies, audience & messaging insights, consumer journey, and media mix recommendations with an accent on using planning tools and media acumen for campaign timing, budget, and mix. Focus on identifying optimal media partners, analyzing demographic trends, leveraging offline benchmarks, and delivering innovative business-building solutions.

Location: 100% remote for applicants who reside in the United States

Salary: $100,000-$120,000 plus performance bonus

What you will do

  • Use audience, competitive, channel, and media planning tools to recommend campaign timing, budget, flighting, and media mix aligned with client business strategy.
  • Identify optimal media partners and platforms including OTT, Linear TV, Terrestrial Radio, Online Video, Social, Search, and Digital Audio.
  • Analyze demographic data and trends to drive full-funnel media recommendations for brand awareness, consideration, and performance.
  • Leverage offline media planning experience for core metrics like reach, frequency, TRP/GRP, and impressions.
  • Conceive and deliver innovative marketing solutions, acting as key client contact for plan development and approval.
  • Collaborate with investment, client strategy, and analytics teams to sync planning with measurement and buying capabilities.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of media buying, planning & strategy experience with focus on strategic and operational planning in US national market
  • Experience with cross-channel planning: linear TV, streaming video/audio, digital media (search, social, display, etc)
  • Expert knowledge of planning platforms: Nielsen suite (Commspoint, Nielsen Media Impact, NPower, National TV View), Resonate, Comscore, Kantar
  • Understanding of KPIs from performance marketing to brand awareness
  • Strong POV on industry planning, insights, competitive tools, and media landscape (traditional and digital)
  • Ability to build client relationships, trusted advisor skills, strong presentation story-telling
  • Ability to travel to onsite meetings 1-2 times a month at most
