What you will do

• Manage daily workflow of the claims team to ensure SLA and regulatory requirements are met.
• Coach and mentor associates, promoting a culture of ownership, accountability, and career development.
• Perform quality reviews of tasks and provide hands-on support and feedback to staff.
• Maintain and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Resolve complex claim escalations in collaboration with Legal, Compliance, and Underwriting stakeholders.
• Promote the use of AI applications, specifically Microsoft Copilot, to enhance operational efficiency and reporting.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States and available to work between 8:30am and 6pm ET.
• 5+ years of experience with variable and fixed life and/or annuity products and processes.
• Direct people leadership experience is required.
• Demonstrated experience leading teams to meet SLA, quality, and compliance standards in a regulated environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's Degree.
• FINRA Series 6 and/or 26 licenses.
• Industry certifications such as FLMI, ALHC, or HIAA.
