Salary: $74,200 - $92,800

What you will do

• Design, develop, and test software applications for power systems industry.
• Analyze customer requirements and create application designs and documentation.
• Design algorithms and implement them in software.
• Create test procedures, perform unit and algorithm testing.
• Maintain existing power system software and tools.
• Conduct technical reviews and stay updated on industry standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (with Power Systems emphasis), Mathematics, or related field.
• Understanding of power systems concepts in generation, transmission, distribution, DER integration, or outage management.
• Proficiency with analytical tools like MATLAB, PSLF, CYME, PowerWorld.
• Exposure to transient switching studies using EMTP/EMTDC/PSCAD.
• Proficiency in C, C++, and/or C# coding.
• Legal US work authorization required; no sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree (MS, PhD) in Electrical Engineering or related.
• Demonstrated knowledge in power flow, state estimation, DER control, network optimization.
• Knowledge of high voltage power systems.
• Commercial software development experience in C/C++/C#.
