What you will do

• Develop PSCAD, PSSe, and PSLF models for generation and load projects based on interconnection requirements.
• Perform bulk power system studies, assessments, and compliance technical assessments on facility rating and protection coordination.
• Create large load models and interconnection strategies to meet complex grid connection requirements.
• Support regulatory compliance from conceptual design through testing and commissioning.
• Automate EMT modeling and model quality testing to improve efficiency.
• Mentor junior team members and support the development of technical reports, proposals, and budgets.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
• 5–10 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Proficiency with PSSe, PSLF, and PSCAD power system modeling software.
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.

Nice to have

• FE or PE licensure.
• Familiarity with PowerFactory, ETAP, SKM Power Tools, Easypower, Windmill, CAPE, or Aspen.
