Salary: $90,200 - $112,800

What you will do

• Develop and maintain mission-critical grid and DER-related applications using C++.
• Collaborate with software developers, architects, and power systems experts to design DERMS capabilities.
• Implement reliable, performant, fault-tolerant code based on power systems requirements and user stories.
• Ensure quality through unit testing, participate in code/design reviews and agile ceremonies.
• Investigate, diagnose, and resolve issues in algorithmic logic and power-system functionality.
• Communicate technical concepts to power systems specialists and non-technical audiences.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Software Engineering or related field.
• Formal education and professional experience in power systems engineering and power electronics.
• Knowledge of modern grid technologies (DERMS, DMS, BES, VVO, VPP) preferred.
• Familiarity with mixed integer programming, convex optimization, and solvers like Gurobi, CLP, CBC.
• Strong optimization techniques knowledge and problem-solving in collaborative environment.
• Electrical engineering background in utility industry preferred; desire to support global decarbonization.
