Solutions Engineer (Navy and USMC East): Provide pre-sales technical support as trusted advisor for cybersecurity solutions with an accent on sales presentations, solution designs, demonstrations, and Proof of Concepts targeting US Navy and USMC. Focus on designing differentiating technical solutions, articulating business value against competitors, and resolving customer issues in networking and security.
Location: Remote. Must reside in South Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, or Washington DC. Preferred: Charleston, SC. Active Top Secret Security Clearance Required. Presales experience with DOD preferred.
Salary: $129,900 - $194,900 annually

What you will do
- Act as trusted advisor delivering technical expertise via presentations, solution designs, demonstrations, and PoCs.
- Design systems engineering configurations to solve customer business problems or create new service offerings.
- Develop and maintain technical account plans partnering with sales team.
- Support channel partners with training, technical oversight, and consultative expertise.
- Handle post-sales activities, escalations, and issue resolution with technical support.
- Articulate value proposition and influence sales strategy for CxO to technical staff.
Requirements
- 8+ years related industry experience, 4+ years pre-sales. BS/BA or equivalent.
- Active Top Secret Security Clearance Required.
- Expert written/oral communication and presentation skills.
- Network design background and system admin skills in UNIX/Microsoft.
- Proficiency in configuration/troubleshooting servers, Active Directory, domain design.
- Knowledge of products, industry trends, Windows Server, AI concepts.
