Senior Software Engineer, Core Experiences (Kotlin Multiplatform)

Location: Remote role based in the United States; listed location is New Orleans, LA, USA

Salary: $140,000–$200,000 USD per year, plus bonus and stock depending on experience.

What you will do

• Collaborate with product teams to scope projects, reduce scope for faster customer feedback, and navigate integration and UX tradeoffs.
• Deliver cross-platform solutions through the company’s SDK.
• Optimize functionality for faster loading and more intelligent parsing.
• Design efficient abstractions and improve algorithms.
• Ship cloud functions, lightweight backend services, and jobs using Kotlin.

Requirements

• Senior-level software engineering experience with strong systems thinking and end-to-end design skills.
• Professional experience with Kotlin Multiplatform; Java experience may also be relevant.
• Ability to design clear, reliable APIs and simple systems.
• Ability to work quickly, prioritize effectively, and collaborate with designers, marketers, and product managers.
• Must be based in the United States.
