What you will do

• Develop, test, and deploy software solutions using advanced Java or Scala programming.
• Orchestrate and manage SE labs and demo instances across cloud and on-premise ecosystems.
• Support the customer proposal lifecycle, including Demos, RFIs, RFPs, and POCs.
• Construct ROI models incorporating technical solutions and customer business value.
• Build automation scripts and go-to-market assets for effective sales enablement.
• Collaborate with the sales engineering team to solve complex business problems.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field at the University of Waterloo.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Scala, and Python, with a solid grasp of data structures and algorithms.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including deploying and managing Pods, Services, and StatefulSets.
• Understanding of the big data ecosystem, including ingestion, processing, and storage technologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Must be available for a 4-month on-site assignment in Kitchener, Canada.

• Experience with distributed computing and cloud platforms.
