• Build and manage a high-performance team of engineers, engineering leads, and engineering managers.
• Ensure the efficient delivery of key features supporting educators and learners.
• Drive technical excellence across teams, improving practices from initial design to release.
• Mentor and coach team members to foster professional growth and enthusiasm.
• Collaborate with the broader development team to prioritize work and spearhead initiatives.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of software engineering experience and 2 years of engineering management.
• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Strong programming skills in Java or another object-oriented language.
• Exceptional analytical reasoning, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and leadership capabilities.
• Must be based in the San Mateo, CA, headquarters office.
