Location: Onsite at hirify.global Campus, Vancouver, Canada

Salary: $5,227.00 - $5,641.00 CAD Monthly

What you will do

  • Supervise and allocate work for Patrol Officers during daily operations and major campus events.
  • Manage resource deployment to ensure operational needs and departmental standards are met.
  • Respond to critical incidents and high-priority tasks, providing leadership and escalating issues to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Review incident reports and shift logs to identify trends and provide recommendations for team performance improvement.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to staff to promote professionalism and a collaborative environment.
  • Ensure compliance with uniform policies, equipment maintenance, and the delivery of advanced first aid services.

Requirements

  • BC Security License and high school graduation.
  • Advanced First Aid Certification (OFA 3) and a valid BC Driver’s license.
  • 3-5 years of security industry experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity.
  • Advanced Security Training (AST) and Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) certifications.
  • Ability to work a rotating schedule in a unionized setting.
  • Must be based in or authorized to work in Canada.

Nice to have

  • Post-secondary degree or certificate in a related field.
  • Professional certifications or memberships such as CPP/APP.
  • Familiarity with Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) and trauma-informed approaches.
  • Experience scheduling large groups in line with collective bargaining agreements.
