Security Shift Supervisor

Salary: CAD $53,000 – $65,000 Yearly

What you will do

• Supervise security officers 24/7 and coordinate work based on Contingency Operations and S.O.P. manuals.
• Enforce Global Security Department Best Practices and adhere to US Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (CTPAT) recommendations.
• Protect the organization’s physical property, assets, and personnel from theft, damage, and unlawful activities.
• Manage scheduling, payroll, timekeeping, and conduct performance reviews for the security team.
• Respond to fire and first aid emergencies and facilitate EHSS processes.
• Perform administrative data entry and conduct electronic-based audits.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience leading a team of 5 or more personnel in corporate/logistics security, law enforcement, or military environments.
• Must be based in Mississauga, Ontario.
• Ability to rotate shifts, work weekends and overtime as required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice to have

• Certification in First Aid, CPR, and Blood-borne Pathogens (training will be provided).
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills (Microsoft Suite, mobile applications).
• Knowledge of CCTV and physical security programs.
