What you will do
- Plan and schedule maintenance, inspections, repairs; manage staff and contractors.
- Develop and manage facilities budget; monitor expenses and implement cost savings.
- Optimize space utilization; coordinate office moves and renovations.
- Ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance; conduct drills and implement procedures.
- Negotiate and manage vendor contracts; evaluate performance.
- Act as point of contact for building issues; communicate with employees, management, and partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in facilities management, engineering, business administration, or equivalent.
- 7+ years in real estate management, particularly Canadian market.
- Experience coordinating real estate transactions (acquisitions, dispositions, leasing).
- Lead development and implementation of real estate strategies for Canadian portfolio.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, communication, and business acumen skills.
Nice to have
- Professional certification in real estate management.
