Manager Facilities Management (Canadian Real Estate): Maintaining and improving facilities for investment firm operations with an accent on real estate transactions, space optimization, and sustainability. Location: Toronto office (primarily office-based with occasional site visits); flexible working arrangements - 100% remote, hybrid, and in-office options

Salary: $115,000–$135,000 base + performance bonus + RRSP contributions

What you will do

  • Plan and schedule maintenance, inspections, repairs; manage staff and contractors.
  • Develop and manage facilities budget; monitor expenses and implement cost savings.
  • Optimize space utilization; coordinate office moves and renovations.
  • Ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance; conduct drills and implement procedures.
  • Negotiate and manage vendor contracts; evaluate performance.
  • Act as point of contact for building issues; communicate with employees, management, and partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in facilities management, engineering, business administration, or equivalent.
  • 7+ years in real estate management, particularly Canadian market.
  • Experience coordinating real estate transactions (acquisitions, dispositions, leasing).
  • Lead development and implementation of real estate strategies for Canadian portfolio.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, communication, and business acumen skills.

Nice to have

  • Professional certification in real estate management.
