What you will do

• Manage day-to-day activities of buyers in Faculties/Admin Units and procurement & logistics processors centrally.
• Co-lead community of practice for buyers to share best practices and improve buying processes.
• Coach, mentor, and provide directions to ensure high levels of collaboration and customer service.
• Liaise with Procurement Partners to assess and deliver Faculty/Admin Unit needs.
• Manage escalations, develop SLAs and KPIs, and report on performance metrics.
• Partner on process enhancements, efficiency improvements, and continuous improvement plans.

Requirements

• Two-year diploma in Purchasing Management or university degree in relevant discipline; Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) an asset.
• Minimum 4 years related experience or equivalent.
• Expert knowledge of end-to-end public procurement cycle.
• ERP experience with Workday and Planon an asset.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to lead teams and drive process optimization.
• Customer service focus, compliance with policies, and negotiation skills.
