Business Development Specialist (Medical Devices): Driving growth in Latin America by managing distributor networks and executing field medical initiatives with an accent on product training, hands-on workshops, and clinical support. Focus on increasing product adoption among healthcare professionals and managing regional distributor activities in Rio de Janeiro and Espirito Santo.

Location: Must be based in Rio de Janeiro or Espirito Santo, Brazil. Extensive travel (50% - 70%) across the assigned region is required.

What you will do

  • Conduct field medical visits with distributors to educate healthcare professionals on products.
  • Organize and operationalize workshops, hands-on sessions, and in-hospital training programs.
  • Support product launches and drive adoption and penetration in key accounts.
  • Gather and report market intelligence on competitors and opportunities to the Country Manager.
  • Manage, train, and provide ongoing performance feedback to assigned staff.
  • Maintain strong partnerships with distributors to ensure consistent messaging and execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in Medical Devices within Sales, Clinical Support, or Training roles.
  • In-depth knowledge of the regional healthcare market and medical device industry.
  • Experience conducting workshops and product demonstrations in hospital environments.
  • English proficiency is preferred.
  • Ability to work onsite in clinical environments and handle physical requirements of the role.
