Location: Somerville, Massachusetts, United States. Work onsite at Somerville office 4 days a week.

What you will do

• Analyze financial data and support reporting, forecasting, and operational finance projects
• Manage client invoicing, billing workflows, accounts receivable, and payable operations
• Review, reconcile transactions across banking, accounting, payroll, and expense systems
• Assist with monthly close processes, expense categorization, and financial documentation
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve finance and billing issues
• Improve financial processes, reporting consistency, and workflows as the company scales

Requirements

• 1–3 years experience as staff accountant or similar role
• Bachelor’s degree (accounting or finance preferred)
• Strong knowledge of corporate finance, accounting theory, and three-statement financial modeling
• Experience with international tax processes
• Mastery of Microsoft Office and accounting software (NetSuite, QuickBooks, Xero, Expensify, Bill.com)
• Ability to thrive in dynamic startup environment and build foundational processes

• Spanish or Portuguese language skills
