What you will do

• Maintain and update existing Excel-based financial models and support routine data updates.
• Build new, straightforward spreadsheets to support budgeting and reporting needs.
• Perform updates including adding new projects, CAN numbers, and adjusting reference tables.
• Ensure high accuracy and quality control across all spreadsheet updates.
• Develop advanced logic, dashboards, and automation as skills progress.
• Collaborate with the team to meet specific federal client needs.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including experience building and maintaining spreadsheets.
• US Citizenship and ability to maintain Public Trust clearance.
• Willingness to work on site in Washington, DC.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control instincts.
• Basic understanding of federal budgeting concepts (preferred).

Nice to have

• Experience with pivot tables, lookups, array formulas, and large datasets.
• Foundational programming experience or interest in learning VBA.
• Experience designing analytical dashboards for executive audiences.
• Microsoft Office Specialist (Excel Associate or Expert) certification.
