What you will do
- Participate in the annual budget and strategic planning process for the business unit.
- Drive forecasting, reporting, and detailed variance analysis.
- Partner with Finance leadership to ensure all financial reports comply with IFRS.
- Execute the overall financial close process and review periodic financial information.
- Serve as a finance business partner to business unit leaders to help achieve financial objectives.
- Drive process improvement and proactively identify cost reduction opportunities.
Requirements
- University degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and public company financial reporting.
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access).
- Bilingual French-English proficiency required.
- Must be based in Montreal (St. Laurent).
Nice to have
- CPA designation.
- Experience with Hyperion Planning, Hyperion Enterprise, and Oracle.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
- Experience presenting diverse financial information to senior leadership.
