Independent renewable energy producer with a global portfolio of hydroelectric, wind, solar, and energy storage assets.

What you will do

  • Identify and pursue new greenfield and mid-stage acquisition opportunities for solar and wind projects.
  • Lead Indigenous partnerships and maintain ongoing relationship-building activities.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and consultants for land acquisition, environmental studies, and permitting.
  • Analyze project economics and provide viability recommendations to senior management.
  • Manage project budgets, expenditures, and develop necessary approval documentation.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements and manage the handover process to the construction team.

Requirements

  • 5 to 7 years of experience developing utility-scale wind, hydro, or solar projects.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Experience developing projects specifically within the Quebec markets.
  • Bilingualism in French and English (written and spoken) is required.
  • Proven track record in partnership management and contract negotiations.
  • Proficiency with GIS software.

Nice to have

  • Experience working with Indigenous groups or partners.
  • Knowledge of Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), Interconnection Agreements, and O&M Agreements.
