What you will do

• Manage tax provision processes and prepare tax notes for financial statements.
• Handle the full cycle of federal and provincial Canadian tax returns, ensuring all statutory deadlines and elections are met.
• Conduct tax research and document positions regarding corporate income, property, and transfer taxes.
• Prepare estimated tax schedules and ensure timely tax payments.
• Support audit processes for Canadian and international entities.
• Update financial tax projections and support acquisition or reorganization transactions.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in accounting.
• Professional experience in corporate taxation or within a major accounting firm.
• Bilingualism in French and English (spoken and written) is required for stakeholder collaboration.
• Proficiency in Corporate Taxprep, TaxNet Pro, and advanced Excel.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Longueuil, QC office.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in taxation or a CPA designation.
• Knowledge of international taxation and tax planning optimization.
• Experience with Oracle and One Stream consolidation software.
