What you will do

• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of software projects supporting HIG VistA SSN-Reduction.
• Analyze VistA packages to assess SSN usage, identify integrations, and define incremental deployment plans.
• Facilitate agile ceremonies including daily standups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
• Coordinate communication between stakeholders, architects, product owners, and development teams.
• Ensure compliance with VA enterprise standards, federal regulations, and security requirements.
• Guide the team in adopting DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in software project management, preferably in agile environments.
• Proven track record of delivering complex software projects in healthcare or federal IT settings.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• Proficiency with project management and agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, and MS Project.

Nice to have

• Agile or project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PMI-ACP, Certified ScrumMaster).
• Prior experience supporting VA programs, Cerner Oracle, or federal healthcare initiatives.
• Familiarity with cloud-native development (AWS, Kubernetes) and DevOps practices.
