What you will do

• Develop and own high-leverage coding projects, features, and core system components.
• Design sustainable architectures and provide technical guidance across the organization.
• Lead code reviews, complex bug fixing, incident response, and reverse-engineering tasks.
• Mentor and coach developers to elevate the team's overall engineering proficiency.
• Build shared libraries and evolve development best practices within the team.
• Collaborate with product teams to estimate and establish MVPs for new features.

Requirements

• Must be located in Canada and work within EST/EDT hours.
• Extensive staff-level experience with a proven track record of managing large-scale incidents.
• Deep proficiency in at least one relevant tech stack with a systems-level mindset for complex architectures.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted coding and modern deployment strategies.
• Strong ability to communicate complex technical tradeoffs to stakeholders and peers.
