Software Engineer (Fullstack)

Location: Hybrid. Must be based in the United States or the United Kingdom

Salary: $163,800 – $306,000 per year

What you will do

• Design and build a Data Access Control Layer to enforce table, column, and row-level security across database connectors.
• Redesign the Hub & Admin setup to optimize enterprise onboarding and surface platform health insights.
• Develop a new "Projects" organizational primitive to manage apps, agents, and workflows with role-based permissions.
• Build an Automated Security Center to proactively flag dangerous access patterns and monitor usage analytics.
• Create centralized controls for governing multiple hirify.global Spaces and instances from a single pane of glass.

Requirements

• 2–8 years of professional software engineering experience, ideally within startups.
• Strong fundamentals in backend systems design, data modeling, and building scalable software across the full stack.
• Experience owning technically challenging, cross-functional projects from inception to delivery.
• Ability to communicate technical designs clearly in docs and code reviews.
• Must be located in the US or UK, as hirify.global is currently set up to employ roles in these regions.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Terraform or infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Exposure to dbt, Databricks, or similar data pipeline tooling.
• Experience building authorization systems using RBAC, ABAC, Zanzibar, OPA, or Cedar.
• Knowledge of authentication protocols such as OAuth, SAML, and SCIM.
• Experience designing complex admin-facing UIs or platform management tools.
