Embedded Legal Engineer (AI)

Location: Washington, D.C., United States; hybrid workplace with regular office collaboration.

Salary: $100,000–$145,000 per year, plus potential restricted stock units, sign-on bonus, and other incentives.

What you will do

• Design and build custom applications, integrations, and workflows that eliminate manual legal processes.
• Wrangle data and apply AI to accelerate and improve critical legal operations.
• Shape team strategy and drive projects from ideation through deployment.
• Build embedded relationships with user groups and key stakeholders across the business.
• Develop scalable tooling on hirify.global’s platforms for internal legal operations.

Requirements

• 2+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages, including Python, Java, C++, TypeScript, or JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience leveraging Large Language Models to enhance operations.
• Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders in an evolving environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects from ideation to deployment.
