Content Writer (Spiritual): Write world-class spiritual content, drive production, build creative partnerships, shape content strategy, and collaborate across teams. Focus on crafting devotional and catechetical writing that connects faith to everyday life with theological depth, narrative craft, and cultural awareness.

Location: Remote-first (Chicago HQ preferred, flexible location; must be willing to travel 1-2 times per quarter for content production and at least twice a year for in-person team meetings)

Salary: $75,000-$110,000 USD per year

• Write world-class spiritual content including devotional and catechetical pieces grounded in theology and scripture.
• Drive content production and shape overall content strategy for the app.
• Build creative partnerships and collaborate across teams to create prayer experiences.
• Iterate based on feedback to connect faith with everyday life and culture.

Requirements

• Excited about the mission to help people pray through Christian/Catholic content
• Exceptional writing craft with clarity, beauty, depth, storytelling, pacing, and voice; professional experience required.
• Grounded in Catholic/Christian theology, scripture, spiritual tradition; distinguish devotional vs. catechetical writing.
• Cultural/media fluency to connect faith to what people watch/read/talk about.
• Collaborative, coachable, welcome feedback and iterate quickly.
• Degree in theology, English, creative writing or related + 3+ years professional writing experience + portfolio.
• Willing to travel 1-2x/quarter for content and 2x/year for team meetings
