TL;DR

Copywriter: Developing and applying brand messaging and written content across campaigns, product launches, and major company initiatives with an accent on maintaining a consistent brand voice across diverse digital touchpoints. Focus on collaborating with design and product teams to translate complex technical concepts into compelling, clear, and concise narratives.

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Foster City, CA (Hybrid: Mon, Wed, Fri in-office)

Salary: $150,000 – $180,000 + Equity

Replit is an agentic software creation platform that enables anyone to build applications using natural language.

What you will do

  • Write copy for campaigns, launches, social content, web, and product marketing initiatives.
  • Apply and evolve the Replit brand voice consistently across all channels.
  • Collaborate with designers, producers, and product teams to develop integrated creative work.
  • Support the creation of messaging frameworks, naming, and brand documentation.
  • Contribute to concept development and creative ideation for high-visibility projects.
  • Partner with external agencies and freelancers to ensure quality and consistency.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of experience in copywriting or brand writing roles.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating work across campaigns, brand, and digital experiences.
  • Deep understanding of voice, tone, messaging, and storytelling.
  • Ability to balance conceptual thinking with hands-on execution.
  • Must be able to work from the Foster City, CA office on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
