What you will do

• Serve as senior legal partner on healthcare, product, privacy, and AI matters, partnering with GC on high-priority initiatives.
• Provide risk-informed guidance to product, engineering, clinical, and operations teams for new features, tools, and care models.
• Lead and mature responsible AI governance program, ensuring compliance and alignment with business goals.
• Flex into adjacent legal needs as the company scales, offering practical counseling on market entry and regulatory issues.

Requirements

• JD from accredited law school with active U.S. bar membership
• 10+ years legal experience blending law firm and in-house in health tech/digital health; in-house at fast-paced healthcare company required
• Expert knowledge of healthcare regulations including AKS, FCA, Stark Law, CPOM, telehealth, and Medicaid reimbursement
• Deep experience advising on product development, app deployment, and rapid iteration in tech environments
• Sophisticated understanding of U.S. privacy laws (HIPAA, state consumer laws) for consumer-facing healthcare
• Experience leading AI/ML governance, including legal/ethical implications in clinical settings
• Strong communication, analytical skills, professional judgment, and direct management experience
