What you will do

• Design and implement new features across the frontend and backend.
• Take full ownership of technical decisions from concept to production.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product teams to build scalable systems.
• Perform code reviews to maintain high engineering standards across the team.
• Troubleshoot system issues using logs, metrics, and error reports.
• Partner with Client Operations to resolve complex technical challenges.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience in both frontend and backend.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and React.
• Experience building scalable web applications and working with PostgreSQL.
• Must be based in Vienna or Europe.
• Professional working proficiency in English.
• Experience working in early-stage, product-based startups.

Nice to have

• Experience with Prisma, Next.js, and GraphQL.
• Familiarity with AWS services such as S3, RDS, and Elastic Beanstalk.
• Strong testing habits with Jest, Cucumber, or Playwright.
• Background in regulated industries like healthcare or finance.
• Interest in mentoring and helping other developers grow.
