What you will do

• Represent the Data Governance team as a subject matter expert for technical and business stakeholders globally.
• Support metadata management processes and standards to ensure data integrity across all data domains.
• Develop partnerships with data owners and stewards to promote governance best practices.
• Implement data governance performance standards and operating plans via audits, automation, and defined processes.
• Identify and communicate improvements in the design and effectiveness of key controls and automation.
• Translate complex business requirements into actionable specifications for data governance.

Requirements

• BA or BS in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data governance, quality assurance, product ownership, or data analysis.
• Strong sense of ownership over end-to-end deliverables and procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interaction with all levels, including C-level executives.
• Must be based in or able to work in Atlanta, Georgia, United States (Hybrid).

Nice to have

• 2+ years of experience in the technology industry, specifically with clickstream datasets.
• Experience with Data Governance tools such as Alation, Collibra, or Informatica.
• Familiarity with S3, Databricks, Snowflake, Redshift, Airflow, and BI tools like Tableau, Looker, or Microstrategy.
• Proficiency with Python, PySpark, or SQL.
• Knowledge of the sports betting industry or experience working within heavily regulated environments.
